Pro-Essay

Although I believe that photo essays are good assignments that stimulate student creativity (NETS standard 1) and familiarize them with teachnology, writing is too inavaluable a skill to be completely replaced. Writing is necessary for almost every coarse taken in school and most careers today. Sadly, the world has already produced too many weak writers. Technology does need to be taught and incorporated into the classroom but writer needs to hold the greater emphasis.

    I agree with you that children still need to be taught to be good writers. But isn't good writing just really a sign of good thinking? Can a good PhotoStory be a sign of good thinking too?
